KODERMA DISTRICT GATKA CHAMPIONSHIP 2024 PROUD MOMENT! Modern Public School secured second runner up position in the Koderma District Gatka Championship 2024 where 26 students participated from classes 3 - 8 held at Grizzly Vidyalaya . All participants showcased immense dedication , spirit and sportsmanship throughout the event. Our Achievement 🥇 Gold Medals: 4 🥈 Silver Medals: 5 🥉 Bronze Medals: 12 Modernite Prachi Mishra and Saksham Singh were awarded as BEST FIGHTERS of the event. Big congratulations to all the participants and winners .

Modern Public School, celebrated ‘Dandiya’ in which students participated with great enthusiasm. The programme began with organizing Ramleela for the kids, Modern Public School stood true to its name and ethic. Values are inhibited at an early age and this makes imbibing values in the pre-primary kids all the more important. So Modern Public School, a firm believer of moral values, did an enactment of the Hindu epic 'Ramleela.’ All the participants had gathered in the school in colourful traditional attires. The children along with teachers, all danced on the beats and tune of ‘Dandiya’ very enthusiastically. The special attraction of the program was “Ravan Dahan”. Director , Mrs.Sangeeta Sharma and Principal , Mr.Sailendra Kumar gave best wishes for Navratri.

#NATIONALSPORTSDAY2024 To the best you must know how to handle the worst and sports give power and strength. National Sports Day celebrated on August 29 at Modern Public School, through different sports event to pay tribute to Major Dhyan Chand's legacy on his birth anniversary. Principal Mr. Sailendra Kumar garlanded the portrait of Major Dhyan chand and paid tribute to the Hockey Wizard. He said that all citizens should take one hour out of their busy schedule and play one game of their interest and stay fit. He emphasized on a slogan - " Khelega India, Khilega India".

This was the message of Shri Krishna which encourages us to work towards our goal and in order to celebrate the presence of the omnipresent the students of MPS celebrated the presence of divine through Jhulan Competition , where through their art they showcased their devotion. To foster originality, thinking skills and creative skills in the students, an Interhouse Jhulan Competition was organised for grades IX to XII. “May we always have the courage to stand up for what's right." "Let's celebrate the freedom that we enjoy today by remembering the heroes who made it possible." This was the thought when students and Teachers stepped on the ground to show gratitude towards our freedom fighters and Mother India on the pious occasion of 78th Independence Day. The event was graced by Principal Mr. Sailendra Kumar Sir and Director Mrs Sangeeta Sharma. Students performed various cultural programs such as Song , Dance to show their patriotic emotions towards their Mother Land. Happy Independence Day 🇮🇳

“PROUD BEYOND WORDS” Daughters of MPS once again planted a new flag in our success. Team MPS performed and stood 3rd in the cultural program organised by District Administration Koderma .

#11th Koderma District Kho- Kho Championship. “Say something positive, and you'll see something positive.” This was the feeling and words that was throning into the hearts of young champions of Modern Public School when they entered into the field to compete for the Inter School Kho Kho championship organised by Kho Kho association Koderma and MPS secured third position. Director , Mrs.Sangeeta Sharma and Principal , Mr. Sailendra Kumar along with whole Modern family congratulated the players and their mentors.

It was a sublime moment for the MPS Family when their wonder kids made them proud by performing exceptional in the AISSCE 2024 results and made the whole district proud. MPS Family would like to wish them great success for their future endeavours.

Awareness Leads to Improvement. As part of social awareness campaign students along with Principal of Modern Public School conducted an awareness program where voters were urged to come out and vote and strengthen the democracy.

*SOME GOALS ARE SO WORTHY ITS GLORIOUS EVEN TO FAIL* Modern Public School Conducted an educational seminar cum awareness session on NDA ( how to get into this prestigious services) for the students of class X and XII. The Session was commanded by Brigadier Amar Narayan along with the graceful presence of Principal Sir The session was highly informative as students got to know about this service when they would be able to get into a profession and serve their nation.

MPS under the guidance of Principal sir celebrated the day where the core strength of our school family were given the respect that they deserve.

# RED DAY CELEBRATION Colours are not only exciting for children even it also helps in their learning. Colours are indeed the smile of nature. Red colour day celebration was a wonderful learning which helped students to understand the concept of primary colours. Red colour signifies love and compassion. To mark this day little Modernites were dressed up in red clothes , they enjoyed the day by doing fun activities related to red colour.

#InternationalMotherEarthDay Modern Public School always endeavours to ingrain a sense of appreciation and respect for our mother earth through a vibrant array of activities aimed at raising environmental awareness throughout our school academic session. Our students participated in various activities like Fancy Dress, slogan writing , poster making , collage making related to environmental issues in the past few days. Director Mrs . Sangeeta Sharma and Principal Mr. Sailendra Kumar has extended their best wishes to all the students, parents, and staff members on this occasion.

Commendations to Team MPS for their artistic glory as MPS secured 4th position out of 20 schools which participated in the Model making competition organised by Koderma District Administration for spreading awareness regarding Lok Sabha Elections.

Devi Saraswati is the goddess and source of knowledge,music and positivity. Saraswati puja was celebrated in a positive environment and students paid their tribute to the goddess by singing soulful bhajans in bhajan Sandhya which was celebrated in the presence of Mr.Anudeep Singh S.P , Koderma along with his wife , Principal and Parents.

#2ndKodermaDistrctRifleChampionship 2nd Koderma District Rifle Championship-2024 was held in Modern Public School on 11th February , 2024 with a lot of enthusiasm. Around 109 participants representing the different schools of Koderma District participated joyfully in the competition. Proud moment for Modernites as they lifted the trophy and were declared Champion in Rifle Shooting , with same spirit Sacred Heart School secured the position of First Runner Up and Adarsh +2 Uchha Vidyalaya secured the place of Second Runner Up . The Winning Trophy was presented to the winning team at the closure of the event. Congratulations and Best Wishes to all the participants of Koderma District.

*Principal of Modern Public School honored* Shailendra Kumar, Principal of Modern Public School, was awarded the Shikshayaan Rashtriya Samman for the session 2023-24 for his excellent services and outstanding transformation in the field of education for 22 years. A shawl by Padmashree Kapil Dev Prasad and a Momento by Shri Ganga Prasad, former Governor of Sikkim, Meghalaya and Manipur in the presence of Principal Secretary - Government of Bihar N Vijayalakshmi (IAS) was presented to him at Hotel Chanakya, Patna. The said program was organized by Aryavarta Sahodaya School Complex and Nalanda Sahodaya Cluster. . Let us tell you that he, out of the prestigious pool of total 330 principals selected from Bihar and Jharkhand, only 101 got the honor of receiving awards and honors in this prestigious program. Shri Kumar emerged as an icon of academic excellence, shining among the chosen few and flaunting his impressive and transformational leadership. On reaching the school, the school director Mrs. Sangeeta Sharma and all the teachers honored and congratulated him by giving him a bouquet. He expressed his gratitude to all the members of both Sahodaya and the award committee and said that this honor is not just mine but of the entire Model Public School family and this will increase his responsibility. #KSSC INTER SCHOOL SPEECH COMPETITION #HOST - MODERN PUBLIC SCHOOL The Inter School Speech Competition commenced today in school auditorium. Around 14 school took part in this competition.Mrs.Shalini Gupta, the Ex - Zila Parshad graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and gave away the trophies to the winner and runners. #FIRESAFETYAWARENESSPROGRAMME A Mock Drill on Fire safety awareness programme was conducted in Modern Public School by Mr. Shailendra Kishore, DFO, Koderma, to prevent fire from occurring. He awakened children, teachers and staff on how to use fire extinguishers in case of fire emergencies and what do's and don'ts one needs to follow to minimise the impacts of this hazard. He also described the evacuation plan to be followed by the school team during the emergency. How safety rules could be useful for preventing the fire , he narrated in details. At the end children asked few questions about the fire fighting which were suitably answered by him.
